How was the SoundSleep for Babies was discovered?
William Lenihan and Jay Oliver conducted early musical experiments back in 1997, using a specialized music form called "Ambient Music." Originally, these experiments were designed for adult relaxation purposes, but by accident, they found that babies within earshot of this music were easily lulled to sleep.
This discovery led to further research and development. A team was assembled, including engineers, baby experts and pediatricians. They studied and analyzed the sounds of the womb and the details of audio properties as they exist underwater. After years of testing, trials and further research, now in 2004, they have emerged with the perfected breakthrough Sound Sleep for Babies CD (formerly known as the Baby Sleep System CD)
