William Lenihan
William co-founded the initial Baby Sleep music concept with Jay, was instrumental in it's development, and remains involved in the products' research and development. William is a highly-accomplished international composer of jazz, classical and film music, as is also one of the top jazz and classical guitarists in the U.S. William is the founder of a concept called bio-music, where the music itself carries a striking similarity to the 'essence' of mother-nature - to the absence of artistic ego. The power of this "bio-music" is profound, and can be found within all of the Sounds in Silence products.
His graduate studies were at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he was the recipient of the Harry Warren Memorial Scholarship for gifted composers of music for film. Currently, he is the Director of Composition and Jazz studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
